WELCOME TO THE MILKSHED
The essence of Tulbagh is in the mute wisdom of gnarled old oaks and the jagged wrinkles of the infinitely older and wiser Witzenberg Mountains. This might be true for the folk in the town but for us it is in the amazing sunsets, the brilliant clear starlight skies, the snow capped mountains and majestic waterfalls, accompanied by roaring fires in winter and cooling down in the jacuzzi in the heat of summer. In 2003 the Milkshed cottage started from humble beginnings with just one bedroom and, as it grew in demand, we added 2 more en-suite bedrooms to create a quiet getaway where you can truly relax and enjoy nature in all its glory throughout the four seasons.
THE COTTAGE
The Milkshed cottage has 3 en-suite bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Bathrooms are stocked with toiletries, and you will find some wood and firelighters to get you started. A welcome pack of coffee, tea, sugar, milk, fruit juice and bottled water is also provided.
ACTIVITIES
The Tulbagh valley’s natural scenery and old world charm create an unforgettable setting. Tulbagh is known to host memorable country weddings. The award-winning wine route has never been more exciting. Tulbagh also plays host to several festivals yearly.
